Requirements for Racing Yachts and Yacht Owners:

1. Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk - see rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage, personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the regatta.

2. Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third party liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per event or equivalent.

3.  All boats shall carry all safety equipment as specified by Transport Canada TP 511, including the use of personal floatation devices suitable for the conditions. 

It shall be the requirements of all yacht owners / participants to ensure that these conditions are agreed to, and/or met.
