2013 SPRING CLASSROOM SESSION

BBYC will be starting its Junior LTS program a little early this year with spring classroom sessions held every Tuesday evening (6:30 – 7:30PM) at the club during May and June. Dates will alternate between White and Bronze/Silver sail levels. Sailing Instructors will teach the sessions and review necessary sail training information so that students can “hit the ground running” when the regular lessons begin in the summer. We will have occasional “guest celebrities” from the local sailing community speak with students on the subject of sailing. These sessions will be a key part of this year’s BBYC LTS program and we strongly encourage parents to attend and participate with their children.

White Sail  - May 7, 21  June 4, 18

Bronze Sail – May 14, 28, June 11, 25 

Both sessions run from 6:30 - 7:30PM

RACE TEAM – Laser/Radial/420

The race team program is geared towards the advanced sailor sailing at a bronze 5 or a silver sail level. Students must have their own laser or laser radial to participate.

BBYC Junior Sailing Clothing

This year, BBYC Junior Sailing will have clothing that can be ordered though the Learn to Sail Office. 

 

YOTS and ARK

BBYC is host to YOTS (Youth Olympic Training Seminar) and ARK Regatta that will run July 4 - 7th 2013.
